the band people have band camp(?) and practices for their upcoming band concert!

and eds has camp too.

im sure all other ccas have trainings/practices as well.

(which may not be very likely because there is already a math test in week 2.)

and im sure there are more tests coming up.

some interesting happenings during class chalet:

1. the barbecued chicken were (mostly) cooked!

the previous barbecue was quite fail lol.

2. we were laughing at supposedly scary parts during horror movie, The Eye

Ruo ting(being the clown, as usual) went: "Ahhh... hahaha"

3. i was so focused on helping with the bbq that when i turned to my hand, i was shocked to see it covered in blood.

i started to ask people if i was bleeding. LOL.

i remembered wei ting(i think) screaming, "Yes! You're bleeding!" haha!

"omg, omg i'm bleeding!" was my reaction.

then i ran to the toilet and washed my hand.

it was the first time there was so much blood from my wound. eek.

EPIC.

4. it was the first time i saw a mahjong game running out of tiles before someone finally finished it. haha.

5. grace printed out bernice's black and white photo and held it during photo taking. D:

everyone was like "choi!"

so cute haha.

& manymany more that i'm lazy to include.(:

Thanks to those who came and made everything possible(:

It all started at about 3+pm, Melissa's parents helped us check-in.(: (Thank you!)

We sat around and talked, then played truth or dare.

Then we went to the children's playroom but got rejected. ):

Arcade, watched tv, played mahjong, card games etc.

Bbq started.

Thanks for many of your help(:

It certainly was much better than last time, at least the chicken were (mostly) cooked.(:

The marshmallow was lovely(: It melted in my mouth. :D

Watched America's Next Top Model, others played games like bridge and mahjong.

Took class photos. (with Grace carrying Bernice's black-and-white photo D:)

Thanks Kent and Nicholas for offering help in clearing up the bbq pit.(:

People eventually left.

Rui Zheng, Alex, Ervin, Ruo Ting, Melissa, Jayne, Siow Ying, Tyne, Desirae, Hui Hsien and me stayed over.

Failed movie marathon, haha.

Watched 200 pounds beauty and The Eye only!

We were laughing at the supposedly scary parts during The Eye lol.

with Ruo Ting's occassional shouts before laughs: "Ahh..hahaha"

Only Tyne, Ruo Ting and me survived till the end of The Eye haha.

which was about 4+am.

We talked till 5+am and finally slept.

Thanks Melissa and the others for clearing up the chalet.(:

Went McDonalds for breakfast at white sands.(:

Went home.

I think all of us slept a lot after that, haha.(:

2 years have gone by in a flash.

it's not exactly a short period of time, but neither is it a long one.

it's quite sad that today we had to rush around without time to bid farewell to one another properly. :/

anyway i really really would like to thank you all for coming into my life, making the past 2 years fun, enjoyable and most importantly, memorable.

thank you for giving me this chance to lead all of you, all 34 of you.

it's such an honour.(:

though it was tiring and stressful, and i'm sorry i lost my temper at times.

so there were painful memories but certainly more pleasant memories than those.

i'm glad i took up this role this year,

and thanks for all the words of encouragement, it really means much(:

it's not easy for us to meet amongst 4.99 million people in Singapore and 6.795 billion people in the world. (:

i regret not treasuring the time we had more, but i think it's really time for us to slow our fast-paced life and look around, at the things and people around us.

and just a simple greeting could cheer your loved ones.(:

sounds funny maybe, but i cant imagine life without you all.

Helea seems to have become a part of my life.

maybe i'll keep myself busy planning outings and such, haha.

yea there may be really good friends from other classes, but it'll never be the same again.

it's like double the blow to me today, i dont know what you all feel.

it's the last day we're 2 Helea, a class, that's one.

it's the last day Mrs Tay is our form teacher, and next year she'll belong to someone else. :/ haha.

it's the last day i'm leading you all, being your chairperson.

and the second is of course it's Mr Sng's last day with the entire school population.

Today was the day.

Interclass games!

I still remember the girls played netball last year and the guys basketball.

The girls got into the second round and the guys didn't.

This year it's the opposite I guess.

We played soccer and volleyball respectively.

I'm sure the girls' efforts have paid off, it was a really good experience for us.

It is really different when we're in the game itself.

but I do think it was well worth it.(:

then after a long round of discussion,

we split into 2 groups.

looi han and jayne went ice-skating;

siowying, ruoting, xiaocong, mingquan, ervin, alex and me went kbox.

jayne and looihan joined us nearing the end of our 3 hours singing. (:

so we heard one another's nice and sometimes out of tune singing. (:

and then jayne left.

our last song was 被风吹过的夏天.

a very sweet ending but

we let touch my body play as we left haha.

to get the waiters horny. hee.

Just to let you all know about the deadline for the report.

After much discussion with the subject head, Mr Han has managed to get the deadline for the report extended to FRI instead of TUE.

Quoted from Mr Han for the change in deadline previously: "The deadline was made to align the reports with the RS. Moreover, with H1N1 so unpredictable, the teachers said that it would be better to finish the projects in case of any school closure. I have also advised the class before to complete their projects during the holidays and not leave it to last minute. "

He also said: "However, please tell the class to work as if the deadline is still next tues."

You heard him. So please DO NOT leave the report till wed or thur and chiong like there's no tomorrow. Try and complete asap. Thanks so much! :D
